Prayer Needs List
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much! (James 5:16)
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Eph. 6:12) We are in a spiritual war for the lives of children. Therefore, the effectual, fervent prayers of our Praying Friends make ALL the difference between success and failure.
You might like to divide the following list into sections, or pray the whole list through. You might like to pray every day, or on one certain day each week, or on one certain date each month, or … etc. However and whenever you pray for this school, thank you for praying. The spiritual and material needs are great. (see Spiritual and Material Needs Lists below)
Spiritual Needs:
1. School teachers and staff: for spiritual protection, wisdom, encouragement, vision, perseverance, health, family and financial needs.
2. Bible teachers, chapel and revival preachers: for power, wisdom, enthusiasm,
and discernment to teach and preach God’s Word effectively.
3. Parents:
a. For protection from Satan’s attempts to pull their homes apart,
b. For wisdom and courage to fight for their children, protecting them
from the evil influences of our ungodly culture,
c. For courage and determination to maintain daily family worship, to keep
their families in church, and keep their children in the Christian school,
d. For financial resources sufficient to keep their children in the Christian school.
4. Students: (Col. 1:9-14; Eph. 6:11-18; Ro. 12:1-2) Pray that our students would…
a. … steadily increase in their personal knowledge of God in salvation
and Christian growth.
b. … be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual
understanding.
c. … learn to live life in a way worthy of and pleasing to God.
d. … grow to love God with their whole heart, mind and strength.
e. … develop into fruit bearing Christians, ministering effectively for the Lord,
influencing others for Christ for a lifetime.
f. … be able to withstand the attacks of Satan through skillful and consistent use
of the whole armor of God.
g. … present themselves to the Lord in complete surrender to live holy lives, not
conformed to this world, transformed by renewed minds by the power of God
and His Word.
h. …be willing and able to discern and practice God’s will for their lives.
i. Also, please pray for students who struggle with learning and behavioral
difficulties, that God would grant them victory over these problems.
Material Needs:
1. Playground renovation ($60,000)
2. Storage building construction ($10,000)
3. Cafeteria expansion and renovation
4. Replace high school lockers ($10,000 est.)
