Every year toward the end of October CCS sponsors a tremendous Fall Festival. Our church, school, and community families come together on this special evening for a great time of just good, old fashioned, wholesome family fun.
Games for all ages are everywhere - in the gym and outside. Lots of good food keeps the cafeteria swamped all night, and folks constantly compete for over 100 cakes and other home made desserts at the cakewalks.
And of course certain events each year prove to be all-time favorites.
- Several Hayrides running simultaneously have wagons constantly loaded with riders all night long.
- Pony Rides run constantly, and the line of excited riders seems to never grow short.
The “Main County Jail” stays fully occupied as students repeatedly lock up Mr. Main, CCS teachers and other “notorious local desperados”.
- And of course one of the absolute favorites for the adults is the Giant Fall Festival Auction. Hundreds of items of all sizes and values are auctioned off, and some really fantastic bargains are snagged each year. The big item last year was a Chevy Cavalier and a Ford Taurus station wagon the year before that.
If you are in the area, why not join us? See the
calendar page on this website for this year’s Fall Festival date.
