Alternating with the CCS high school drama, every other year the K/4-6
th grade students of CCS perform an amazing new musical play written and directed by our own fine arts director, Mrs. Marilyn Comstock. This majestic program is written and presented with two overarching goals in mind. Our first goal is to magnify the Lord and His miraculous birthing of America, the greatest Christian nation in the history of the world. Solidly implanted in the heart of each program is a clear presentation of salvation through faith in Christ. Our second goal is to inspire our performing students and the audience with another moving story of America’s greatness, adding fuel to the fiery spirit of American patriotism that has been so important to our success as nation.
2006/07: On November 2nd, in the Calvary Baptist Church auditorium on Main Street in King, the 4-year-old kindergarten through 6th grade classes of CCS presented America, Turn Back to God. In this inspiring and thought-provoking program, a team of young Americans urgently researched to discover America’s problems - and solutions to fix them. The team's excitement grew as their research took them back to Columbus, the Pilgrims, the Revolutionary War, the beginning of our Constitution, the War of 1812, two Great Awakenings that turned America’s heart back to God, and the realization that God can do it again! It is our prayer here at Calvary that America will experience revival again, even as it did during two historical Great
Awakenings when our national spiritual condition was much like today. A sweeping national revival could happen again, and it could even start with this elementary school program right here at CCS in King. The audience was challenged to pray fervently with us for a third Great Awakening in America.

2007/08: On Thursday night, November 1st, our K/4 – 6th grade students proudly presented We Love America. Beginning with a flag waving parade marching to patriotic music from our school band, this year’s program was an inspiration to everyone present. Throughout the weeks of practice the children learned, and on the night of the performance the audience learned many vitally importance aspects of our American heritage. They learned about the beginning of America through the Revolutionary War, and the beginning of our great love for this amazing new nation. One Nation under God was born. They learned about a time when this great love for America was terribly tested during the Civil War, and they learned how our nation’s love for America has declined through the years to the sad low point that we see today. This moving program did not end on a sad note, however. Both students and audience
learned in the end how a great love for America can be restored once again. Americans will love America as they did in years of old when Americans turn their hearts wholly back to the Lord! God can, and desires to help us! May God send revival to our land!
